Kaleidoscope Needlepoint​ Series - Carol takes a traditional craft and puts an improvisational, modern spin to it. When Frank, her husband of 56 years, could no longer be cared for at home due to dementia, she turned to free-form needlepoint to help fill the void and center herself. Carol loves the adventure of starting each blank canvas with no idea how it will end up and equates it to the mystery of the cosmos, never knowing quite what lies beyond what man has explored. Like a Kaleidoscope, her creations reveal something beautiful and different each time you look at them. Many of Carol’s pieces have taken her a year or more to complete. ​
